In, On, At
These three prepositions are a lil bit confusing sometimes. Now let's talk about them.
1. InWe usually use _in_ with the name of cities, towns, countries, and continents
_for example_ : I live in Mojokerto
She is in Europe now
We also use _in_ with months, years, or seasons.
_for example_: I was born in February
I graduated from UNESA in 2012
We also use _in_ when something/somebody is _inside_ a building/a container/a place.
_for example_: The students are studying in the classroom
There's a bird _in_ a cage.
2. On
We usually use _on_ with the name of street.
_for example_ : I live on Kamboja street
We also use _on_ with days and dates.
_for example_ : I have English class on Monday
I was born on February 11
We also use _on_ to show the position of something. This thing is right above the other thing and touching it (menempel)
_for example_: the lizard is _on_ the wall
The book is _on_ the table
We also say : _on a bus, on a plane, on a ship, on a train_
3. At
We usually use _at_ with a complete address
_for example_: I live at 19 Kencono Wungu street
We also use _at_ with a particular time in a day
_for examples_:I go to school _at_ 6 am
We'll meet at noon
We also use _at_ for these place expressions:
At work, at school, at university, at college, at the airport, at the bust stop, at home.
